The Aussie national treasure, and a bevvy of other celebrities including Dakota Johnson and Kate Bosworth, are crediting the teardrop-shaped MakeupDrop silicone sponge ($20 USD) for their flawless faces.
Despite flying under the mainstream radar for a while, beauty addicts and those in the industry have been fans of the product for quite some time. In fact, Harper’s Bazaar UK reports that one of these bad boys sells every three seconds.
The makeup artist behind these stars, Pati Dubroff, has revealed why the sponge is her go-to for application.
"Sponges and brushes can be so unsanitary, and they start to pull your skin," Pati told UK Harper’s. "The most important thing for my clients is that I'm making sure that I'm not hurting their skin, and that can happen if you're using dirty applicators."
