Even at the first dinner party on Wednesday night, the newlyweds boasted about their strong connection. "I feel blessed that I have Michael. Like, we have such a good relationship compared to everybody else," said Stacey after meeting the other couples.
But between that first dinner party and now, things have apparently fizzled out between the MAFS couple. Stacey confirmed their split via South Australian Instagram account, S**t Adelaide.
The account, which describes itself as “Custodians of South Aussie greatness”, shared a newspaper clipping from the Street Talk section of The Advertiser, where people were asked “What are you doing on Valentine’s Day”. The second photo reveals an Adelaide local’s answer: “Sitting in my room alone listening to music, eating chocolates and crying.”
Stacey tagged a friend in the comments and wrote “same”.
Someone else saw the telling message and replied to her, “I'm guessing the marriage didn't work out then?”
The mother-of-two replied with a sad-faced emoji.
