Last night’s blockbuster Married At First Sight finale saw ‘power-couple’ Stacey Hampton and Michael Goonan call it quits following a string of cheating allegations that mysteriously, no one can prove. While the news of their split may have come as a shock to some viewers, Goonan has wasted no time in confirming his new heavily rumoured relationship with co-star KC Osborne.

After weeks of speculation and hints from Stacey that the two were an item, the businessman and burlesque dancer finally confirmed their status this morning, telling New Idea that they’ve been secretly dating for five weeks.
"It’s love. We have one hell of a journey ahead of us – everything is on the table. We even moved in together last week," said Goonan, who is the managing director of his family's commercial ice business in Adelaide.
The 28-year-old also confirmed that the MAFS intruder had met his son, Connor, with the couple already having begun discussing their own family.
"I think KC would be the best mum. A little dancing pop star! We are excited to start the next chapter," said this season’s resident troublemaker.
"I have no regrets. I loved filming the show and everything it taught me. I learned so much from Drew and even though I didn’t find love on the show, it led me to find love now and I couldn’t be happier," KC added.
While many fans would be quick to assume their romance began on set, their love story began after Michael split from law graduate Stacey, with KC hitting back at claims she tried to pursue him while they were in the midst of working things out.
"We didn't hook up during filming. No, but we got along really well. And we both thought each other was attractive so we remained friends after the experiment and shared a few phone calls," she said.
While we’re clear on how ex-wife Stacey feels about the new couple, it turns out KC’s on-screen husband, Drew, was much more supportive.
"I went for lunch with Drew after filming the Today show and he asked if the rumours were true. I couldn’t lie to him, so I told him that we were dating," she said. "Drew was nothing but supportive and agreed to keep it a secret. We finished off by having a glass of wine and toasting to the good times we had in the experiment."
