So obviously you're the face of Paco Rabanne. Is there a favourite fragrance that you love in the range?
I think the Original and the Legend are the ones that I'm always wearing. The original is just so good because the composition of it is so opposite, that makes it a very unique scent, and I love that so much. And the Legend because it has this sense of a little bit of sensuality, and it's so good and subtle. It's perfect for a date night and it's really like a signature scent. Other people always remember me by it. Those are my favourites.
What are your most-loved notes in a fragrance, what's your go-to?
Since I was very little I always went to fruity, and vanilla always. So, that's why I love Olympea so much because of the vanilla, the plum, it's perfect for me. Always sweet perfumes. I just love it so much. It's nice when you pass by and somebody smells you, you know? It's really my thing. When I go to bed I always spray a little bit, because my bed sheet smells like my perfume and so I like it.
What are your secrets to keeping skin looking good on long-haul flights?
Well it's hard to keep looking good when you fly so much, especially with hormonal changes all the time. I think all of us at some point in our life will have to deal with that stuff. So I just make sure to have my moist clean towel when I travel, and I have little toners and things that I pat my skin with in-flight, and I use a lot of aloe-vera masks, like the sheet masks. Aloe keeps my skin very hydrated.
You come to Australia a fair bit, so are there any beauty things that you like to do here?
Beauty things! Every time I come here I'm so busy. When I have vacations here, I will have the best spa days and go to the beach, surf...I think that's so good for your skin, the ocean here. I think your skin, your hair, everything is so good after you swim, and then you have a nice spa day with massages. I always get massages in my hotel.
Do you stick to a strict skincare routine to keep your skin in check just normally?
Yeah, I have something very strict. I have a very good dermatologist and she always helps me with the hormonal breakouts, especially around my period. So she gives me all the products. So I always make sure that I have a gentle cleanser, and then the toner for the morning, which should be a mint-kind of feel so it refreshes your skin, and then oil-free moisturiser. Also, simple ingredients, everything that you can pronounce, and sun cream. Always sun cream. Then at night time, I make sure that I clean my skin really well.
What is your go-to beauty ritual?
Baths, baths with salt. I love all the baths. There's this place in New York called "The Ancient Baths" and I go there very often. They have these cold and hot pools and then saltwater pools, and then saunas, steam rooms and massage.
What is your number one beauty tip that you tell your friends and family?
It's just always taking care of the skin and making sure that you don't sleep with makeup on. It's so important because I have a lot of friends, who, they go partying and stuff, and then they go home and sleep with makeup, and then the next day their skin's so bad.
