Fashion week isn’t fashion week without some incredible street style, right? Right. For London’s autumn/winter ‘19/’20 season, the street style set was all about individuality. Proving they have a penchant for colour — and, on the other side, Burberry-esque beige — Londoners stepped out in a colourful array of staples, broken up only by an army of brown and beige neutrals, the British go-to for wintery days.
Hair accessories reigned supreme, with showgoers pulling out all stops to ensure their clips were noticed. From the personal to the pretty, barrettes of all kinds were out in force. New neutrals like red and pink were everywhere, as were pops of neon in accessories and peeking through outerwear. Suiting, matching and tweed also made notable mentions, as did headbands, which were styled in new season colours like rust and navy. Below, we’ve rounded up our favourites from the week so far.
