Carlotta + Gee
After lots of research, product development and a trip to France, Australian-owned Carlotta + Gee was born. Since its inception, the linen brand has delivered high-quality, eco-friendly and sustainable bedding with the most luxurious feel. Their range of pillows, sheets and duvet covers come in 14 colours and is made from 100 per cent flax linen, which is antiperspirant, keeps its shape better than linen made from other fibres, and is eco-friendly.
Luxury Sydney linen brand IN BED has temporarily closed its Paddington boutique, but it’s now offering its full range – including items previously only available in-store – online. The company will be shipping items from its physical store for free Australia-wide, so those who don’t live in Sydney will get the chance to purchase in-store exclusives for the first time.
You can shop via phone, email or even Instagram DM. The cult brand also offers up other bedding must-have's, including pyjamas and towels.
Cult bedding label Bed Threads has developed a world of firm fans thanks to its simple philosophy - high-quality, 100 per cent French flax linen in chic colourways and easy sets. The brand's signature sets include two pillowcases, a duvet cover and a fitted sheet, delivering free Australia-wide.
The label also produces books, prints and ceramics that accompany their bedding pieces perfectly. Everything you need to create an Instagrammable bedroom.
The environmental impacts of your morning routine shouldn't be limited to reusable coffee cups. Melbourne-based bedding and sleepwear brand Ettitude creates sheets made from a world-first, 100 per cent organic bamboo lyocell, which requires five times less water than cotton to manufacture. Using bamboo results in a fabric that the company says wicks away moisture and neutralises odour up to 50 per cent faster than cotton – so you don’t have to wash it as often. The sheets are vegan (no wool, no insecticides) and made to be breathable.
The Sheet Society
Born from the fact we spend a third of our lives in bed, Melbourne designer Hayley Worley created The Sheet Society. The brand uses fabrics that promote a healthier sleep, such as 100% Long-Staple Cotton, as well as takes on the latest colour and pattern trends from seasonal runways to bring its sleepers a chic and luxurious set.
White & Green
White & Green uses 100% organic cotton, resulting in a seriously luxurious quality and feel. The mother-daughter trio behind the brand are intent on creating their lush products while maintaining their ethical identity, guaranteeing safe working conditions for employees and maintaining that no child is subjected to working on its cotton supply chain.
