Argue all you like about Kylie Jenner's "reason" for being famous, but there's no denying the young business mogul has a profound impact on pop culture.
Yesterday, the Life Of Kylie star tweeted that she rarely uses Snapchat since its controversial update.
"Sooo does anyone else not open Snapchat anymore? Or is it just me... ugh this is so sad," she tweeted, following up with: "still love you tho snap ... my first love."
TMZ reports that Snapchat's shares are down 7.2 percent just hours after Kylie posted her tweets, which has cost them to lose a whopping USD $1.3 billion. While we can't 100% confirm that Kylie's tweets were the cause of the rapid decline, is it is suspicious timing considering the updates to the app were made well over two weeks ago.
As TMZ reports, the young star does have a combined 128.5M followers on Twitter and Instagram, and subsequently a major influence over Snapchat's key demographic. If she says the social media app is done, it seems it really is.
