Celebrity wax figures often end up looking more like a distant relative, rather than an exact replica, of the intended star. So it was all the more surprising when Kylie Jenner's new $350,000 Madame Tussauds wax figure was unveiled today. The figure is so spot-on, it genuinely seems as though the reality TV star has been cloned.
Kylie took to social media to share a selfie with her plastic doppelganer. She uploaded a photo with the wax figure, using her signature Snapchat dog filter before posing with KJ 2.0.
The result is kind of terrifying. Real-life Kylie is the one with the brown dog ears, FYI!
The wax figure was designed to replicate Kylie's lewk (including hair and makeup) from the 2016 Met Gala. Kylie even donated her custom Balmain gown from the event.
"This is so creepy," the star laughed on Snapchat.
Upon closer inspection, it's obvious that Kylie's model isn't a 100% perfect product, with her nose looking quite different when the Snapchat filter is removed.
Still, we think it's pretty spot on!
