In the past 24 hours, there’s been a lot of speculation about the name of Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s newborn baby daughter.
Fans are convinced butterflies play a role in the moniker (even though she’s “terrified” of them), but little has been said about the truly pressing issue in all this: the baby’s last name.
While we weren’t sure about expecting Kylie’s baby to bear the Jenner name (though it would be super cool if she did), we have reason to believe Butterfly/Posie/Mariposa/Monarch/What-Have-You will NOT carry the Scott name.
The reason is simple: It’s not the rapper’s real name! Travis Scott is a stage name. The 25-year-old was born Jacques Webster (which is a far more memorable moniker, if you ask me).
So … is the newest member of the Kar-Jenner clan named Butterfly Webster? If so, we really hope she gets a middle name that begins with M—B.M.W. would be a fitting acronym for the luxury car aficionado’s next of kin.
