Kylie Jenner's baby announcement To Our Daughter, featured the entire family with the notable exception of Caitlyn Jenner.
In case you missed it, the 11-minute video revealed that Kylie and her boyfriend Travis Scott welcomed a daughter on February 1. The candid footage included Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s brand new baby daughter Chicago, a rare glimpse of Rob Kardashian and baby Dream but where was Kylie's parent, Caitlyn?
Caitlyn's voice can be heard at the start of the short film however she isn't seen at the baby shower or in any other part of the emotional journey. Fans were quick to notice, taking to Twitter:
Fans are also criticising Caitlyn for the fact she was in Ireland at the Xpose Benefit Awards when Kylie gave birth, and she was the last family member to congratulate Kylie on social media. The Olympian shared a throwback photo with the caption, "my daughter just had a daughter. It’s amazing to be by your side through this journey. She’s SO beautiful already. Can’t wait to watch her grow. Throwback to my baby, as a baby."
Caitlyn recently opened up about her estrangement from the famous family. The Secrets Of My Life author told Good Morning Britain that the family rift is breaking her heart, opening up in a new interview.
“Since the book came out, I’ve never talked to Kris again. Kim, I haven’t talked to in six, nine months, whatever it is,” the 67-year-old confesses. "It's a big loss in my life."
When Kim appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen she revealed that it's unlikely a reconciliation is in the future. During the host's tell-all game "Plead the Fifth", he asked the 36-year-old what the chances of speaking to Caitlyn again.
“Zero. No, 1. No, I would say 2 percent," Kim responded. "And those are Kendall and Kylie. That’s their percentage. All fair, I think.”
