If there’s one Hollywood couple we can’t get enough of, it’s longtime-loves Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard.
Bell has always been refreshingly down-to-earth about her relationship with her husband of five years, and in a new interview with YOU Magazine, the star of A Good Place has shared more details about the challenges of married life, revealing the duo are in couples therapy to help manage their disputes.
“We fight about everything,” she told the publication, divulging that during the pair’s frequent showdowns, she would “slam the door to the room we were in, slam the door of the house and drive around the corner,”
Thanks to their counselor, Bell has learnt some more constructive ways to deal with the drama, like ‘mentally’ slamming the door. “We still fight, but don’t take disagreements to heart,” Bell said. “I know he’s on my team.”
The A-lister also got personal about her views on monogamy, and whether she would consider an open marriage in the future (spoiler alert: probably not.)
“I see the benefits of a society with monogamous relationships, but it’s difficult because you’re still attracted to other people,” Bell shared. “Dax was in an open relationship in his 20s and it scared me when we first started dating. We don’t have one and I don’t know if we ever will.”
Though the couple have two children, the actress revealed they won’t be adding to their brood, after a pregnancy scare when daughter Delta was just 11 weeks old. “I told Dax, “I feel nauseous. I need you to get me a pregnancy test… It was a false alarm, but four days later he got a vasectomy.”
