2019: "Camp: Notes On Fashion"
Looking to Italian icon Sophia Loren for inspiration on her 2019 dress, Kardashian turned to designer Thierry Mugler to craft the perfect look. Taking eight months to create, the dress was the first designed by Thierry in 20 years, coming back to his namesake label especially to craft the dress. Complete with slick hair, Kardashian went for a wet, post-ocean-swim feel with her outfit, which was completely figure hugging and shows off her impressive curves.

Kim Kardashian West wore a white, off-the-shoulder design by Vivienne Westwood with her hair cut into a sleek and straight bob. One of her first red-carpet events, she opted for a more relaxed, minimal vibe. The soft and floaty fabric is paired with Yeezy sandal heels which feature a thin strap around the foot and crisscrossing laces tied up the leg.

2013: “PUNK: Chaos to Couture Exhibition”
Kim Kardashian West exhibits a powerful slit-to-the-thigh floral-printed jersey gown with matching gloves and strappy sandal heels. Her gown features a train, whilst her hair is tied in a sleek ponytail. Pregnant to daughter North, she was unable to wear her first choice of outfit, and instead settled for a custom Givenchy gown by Riccardo Tisci — to many a meme-maker's delight. In 2019, Kardashian revealed she actually cried after the event, saying she felt "insecure" about being invited.
“I was Kanye’s plus one & so nervous! I didn’t know anyone & I’m sure no one wanted me there lol. I went home & cried after of insecurity but this is one of my fave looks now,” she wrote on Instagram before the 2019 Met Gala.
