Khloé Kardashian has broken her social media silence, following an intense week where she gave birth to her first child amid a cheating scandal with her partner, Tristan Thompson.
The 33-year-old new mum has spoken out for the first time since the cheating allegations were made, choosing simply to ignore the giant elephant in the room. Instead of addressing her relationship woes, she revealed the name of her newborn daughter and spoke of her love for her child.
"Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE," she wrote. "Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!"
Based on her complete lack of acknowledgement of the scandal, and her decision to include "we" and "Daddy" in her post, we'd say the reports of Khloé forgiving Tristan appear to be true... as it were.
The name, which in the wake of her parents drama appears to be a rather ironic choice, appears to be a family name, with proud grandma Kris Jenner taking to Twitter to share the news.
A source close to the star told People after the birth: "Khloé is feeling nothing but happiness right now. She is head over heels in love with her little girl—she is just consumed with love. Absolutely nothing else matters."
"She’s so incredibly happy that her baby is here, that she is big and strong and healthy and beautiful, and so right now Khloé truly has no other cares in the world. She isn’t even mad at Tristan right now,” the source continued.
"She’s basically already forgiven him," the source added. "She is in a bubble of love and peace and happiness right now, and everything that happened with Tristan is less about ‘cheating’ and more like, it was just a random drunken hookup that meant nothing and was kissing at most and didn’t lead to anything else and was the fault of stupid groupies trying to trap him, and everybody just needs to move on."
If she's happy, we're happy.
Congratulations to Khloé and Tristan on their baby girl True.
