Kate Middleton's style is an international talking point, so we would expect that the Duchess Of Cambridge is dropping quite a bit of royal coin on her wardrobe. We didn't, however, expect the figure for 2017 to be quite so high, especially since it's only April.
Following a similar post from the blog What Would Kate Do, the Daily Mail investigated Kate's wardrobe and broke-down the cost of her clothing in 2017 so far. The publication claims that Kate's wardrobe over the last four months has cost a whopping $95,500 (£57,346).
Daily Mail previously estimated that in 2016 she wore clothing worth £174,170, four times the value of her 2015 wardrobe, which came in at just over £43,000, this makes 2017 her "most expensive year yet," apparently.
One of the outfits the publication highlights is the "£6,723 Chanel suit, £3,762 Chanel handbag, and £1,640 Cartier earrings" she donned for a day out in Paris.
