Kate Middleton's sleek brunette waves are almost as iconic as the Duchess of Cambridge herself. Her coveted 'do has long seemed out-of-reach to us mere mortals, but thanks to Instagram and Kate's hairstylist we now have the product knowledge to at least try and replicate those bouncy waves.
Kate’s private hairdresser, Amanda Cook Tucker, took to Instagram this week to share the products they brought along for the Royal Tour in Sweden. This product share is such a rare occurence, that the overwhelming public response lead to Amanda deleting her account. Whoops! At least we scored some beauty tips fit for a Queen before the photo was removed from the web.
In the travel beauty bag there were an astonishing 13 brushes, six combs, three hair tongs and two hairdryers. Alongside the large tool kit was a mix of affordable and luxury products. Elnett's Supreme Hold Hairspray ($4.99; priceline.com.au) was among the seven products shown, a classic favourite known for it's holding ability.
Also on the budget side of the list for Kate was Charles Worthington’s Volume and Bounce Texturising Spray ($15.99; priceline.com.au), and Boots Essential Maximum Hold Unperfumed Hairspray (£1.99 in the U.K chemist).
On the higher end, there was Kiehl’s Silk Groom Serum ($33; davidjones.com.au) and the Diva Professional Styling Intelligent Digital Argan Tong ($44; sydneysalonsupplies.com.au). Infused in argan oil, the heated tong creates those famous loose curls that are extra glossy.
Now if you'll excuse us, we're off to try and replicate those signature Kate Middleton Curls™.
