Illuminum | $105
Kate Middleton, the newest monarch to join the family, spritzed on a bit of White Gardenia Petals by Illuminum ($105 a bottle on Amazon), according to Clarence House, which confirmed her scent of choice. As Lucky Scent eloquently described, the "delicate and refined" perfume is "as fragrant as a vase of white flowers, quivering in the breeze by an open window."
QUELQUES FLEURS L'ORIGINAL EAU DE PARFUM
Houbigant Paris | $600
For her moment in the royal wedding limelight, Princess Diana dabbed on a bit of Quelques Fleurs by Houbigant Paris before walking down the aisle to marry Prince Charles, according to Brides. But perhaps her perfume was trying to warn her of something; as Brides reported, Diana accidently spilled a bit of her favorite scent on her opulent white wedding gown just before she got out of the carriage.
If you want to smell just like Diana on her wedding day, with notes of bergamot, galbanum, tarragon and lemon, it will cost you. A 3.4-oz bottle of the perfume retails for $600 at Bergdorf Goodman.
