The Instagram post, which sees Hudson with a peacefully breastfeeding Rani, her three-month-old daughter, was instantly loved by her fans who applauded the actress for her openness.
Despite her work on iconic films like Almost Famous and How to Lose a Guy in 10 days, Hudson is taking a step back, and like all mothers, trying to balance work and family.
In a recent interview with Today, the 39-year-old mother-of-three explained her struggle with breastfeeding, “I mean it’s just hard – and the pumping… I wish I was a milk machine, I’m not. I need to pump.”
Far from some of the extravagant gowns Hudson has worn at red carpet events in the past decade, her post showcases her breast-feeding attire – wearing items from her comfy sporting brand Fabletics.
The caption alongside the post “When you’re workin’ but babies gotta eat,” with a bottle emoji and a heart, shows that Hudson always puts her kids first.
Celebrities including Pink and Blake Lively similarly don't shy away from sharing their breast-feeding snaps either – who would, when you’re a proud new mum beaming with a little cherub in your arms.
Like all ordinary mums, Hudson is working on adjusting to the new addition to the family — and we're glad she's willing to share it with us!
