According to new reports, Bonelli and the Kardashians are no longer working together, parting ways after more than ten years of friendship.
“The family doesn’t speak to her anymore,” the insider told US Weekly. “She hasn’t worked for them for months,” noting that the split was an amicable one.
Joyce set the record straight on the rumours today, telling People, “I’ve never been fired. When something personal happens, it’s just a personal thing and I don’t think it’s anyone’s business. But people should know, too, that I wasn’t fired and I love all of them and I’m proud of them, too.”
Although she did not go into specifics, Bonelli added, “Who hasn’t gotten in a fight with their girlfriends?”
Earlier this year, Joyce announced that she was launching her own line of products, leading to speculation that a conflict of interest could be the reason the Kardashians cut professional ties with the MUA.
Interestingly, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe have unfollowed her on Instagram, however Joyce still keeps up with her former clients, declining to hit the 'unfollow' button.
Bonelli has continued posting photos of the extended Kardashian family on Instagram on a fairly regular basis. "ma·tri·arch of lifeeee HAPPY BIRTHDAY !! @khloekardashian HOTTEST BIRTHDAY BOOTY ALIVE," she captioned a birthday post for Khloe just yesterday.
Bonelli opened up about her relationship with the Kardashians back in June 2017. “I’ve been with the girls for so long and we’ve been through so much,” she told Pret-a-Reporter at the time. “It’s been over a decade. We’ve known each other since the beginning, before they were famous. After they started their show, people started really loving them and then hating them and now they’re loving them again. There’s been so much that’s happened. Now each one of them is a phenomenon in their own way.”
