“[Rodriguez] said that y’all are going to be getting married,” DeGeneres told her guest. Responding with a laugh, the Second Act star clarified, “He did not say that.”
“He texted me earlier today,” Ellen continued, refusing to show J. Lo the text because she was working. “So you’ll be getting married?” DeGeneres prodded, to which Lopez replied, “I don’t know.”
“We’ve been together a couple years — it’s nice,” she said of their relationship.
If J.Lo and the former athlete were to get hitched it would be the singer's fourth marriage.
The 49-year-old’s three former husbands include actor Ojani Noa, actor and choreographer Cris Judd, and singer Marc Anthony — with whom she shares 10-year-old twins Emme and Max.
The modern Brady Bunch family also consists of Alex' two kids from a former marriage - he and ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis share daughters Natasha, 14, and Ella, 10.
