He’s removed the few photos he had of himself suited up on set, and the only trace that he was ever on The Bachelorette is in his Instagram description and a promo post for a podcast where he tells his “side of the story”.
His decision to cut all ties from the show is likely due to the backlash he received for being so full-on and needy.
"I've been receiving death threats, I've had people asking for my address because they want to come around and punch me in the face, you know. That's difficult," he revealed in an interview with Now To Love.
At least Jamie isn’t denying he came off a little too strong.
"Look, I'll own it. I was pretty intense," he said. "I was in there, in a competitive environment, and my emotions were quite heightened. It is a pressure cooker in there and it probably brought out the worst in me.”
In addition to deleting all The Bachelorette-related photos, Jamie has switched off comments on his photos.
