The Hills alum have finally shared the first photos of their gorgeous boy, in a spread for US Weekly.
In a cover-story headlined "Miracle Baby" the couple detailed the story of the birth, and posed perfectly with their son.
The couple told the publication that Gunnar was welcomed into the world at 6 pounds and 12 ounces, after five hours of labour without medication.
“I actually heard [a doctor] refer to him as a superbaby,” Pratt told Us Weekly. “I swear I did not make that up.”
Spencer admitted to being a little shaken by the experience, and feeling overwhelmed during the birth.
“I was like, ‘This is way gnarlier than anything I am mentally prepared for,’” he admitted. “Thankfully, Heidi’s makeup artist and now one of Gunner’s godmothers stepped in for the first couple hours.”
As for his name, Gunnar, Spencer explained: “He’ll probably be a pitcher, so when Gunner steps to the mound, he’s going to be gunning those throws down home plate,” raved Pratt. “If he wants to be a skier, he’s going to do be gunning down those moguls. It just applies to a lot of sports.”
The happy dad continued on to gush about his son.
“It’s an unspeakable love. The little moments are the most precious," he said.
Congratulations again to the happy couple!
