Are they, or aren’t they? It’s the question on everyone’s lips. Well, on fans of Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin lips anyway. And now it seems like we can finally put the question of whether or not they secretly tied the knot at a NYC courthouse, to rest.
After countless reports, and a few tweets and deletes, the couple apparently finally confirmed the reports to an excited fan.
"I asked them if they were married and they simultaneously said yes!" Nona Melkoni—who dined next to the famous couple on October 16— told Us Weekly.
"They were both very happy and kind. He told me that she’s his angel. They were super sweet!"
So that, combined with Hailey’s uncle Alec Baldwin spilling the tea, telling Access that his niece and the Biebs “went off and got married” seems to be all the confirmation we need.
According to People, Hailey and Justin had wanted to keep their nuptials top-secret, as the actual wedding ceremony is still to come. “They didn’t want anyone but their families to know they got married. This wasn’t a wedding,” a source revealed. “They can’t wait to have a wedding. But for other reasons, it was easier for them to get the legal stuff out of the way now and to get married. It was more of a necessary ceremony to make it legal. It doesn’t seem like it was a big deal to them.”
According to People’s the couple are still in the stages of planning the wedding, so it could be some time before they actually hold an actual ceremony.
