Both models showed their love for the leopard print trend, posting their own take on the spotted bucket hat. Jenner’s, a printed cotton version, and Hadid’s, furry and textured, was a serious throwback — in both print and shape.
Jenner, always one to go that little bit further, chose to match her printed hat with her thong bikini. Genius? Might be.
Hadid opted for cult favourite label Ruslan Baginskiy — you might remember him as the guy that made pageboy hats into the worldwide phenomena they became — a brand who’s known for reworking classic 2000s shapes.
Dominated on the street style set (especially in New York City) and runways (hello, Paris) this past season, the humble bucket hat has had a grown up update, with brands like Fendi and Prada taking on the shape to much appraise. Add to that another animal print, say, leopard print (or, do like Rihanna and opt for snakeskin) and you've got yourself a winning trend. And if the recent autumn/winter season was anything to go by, that bucket hat thing? It's here to stay.
