It's been a tough year for Hollywood couples. Breakup after breakup has plagued headlines, from Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum to Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux. But not all hope is lost in the world of celebrity love, because it sure looks like Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have entered "more-than-friends" territory.
The former couple dated for two years before announcing their split in March, which shocked their fans, since there were no clear signs of trouble. At least publicly, both were pretty mature about the whole thing. And now, a month and a half later, they're locking lips again.
TMZ first posted a picture of the off-again couple making out in public on Sunday in N.Y.C.
In the image, Malik sports a completely shaved head—and tattooed skull—while Hadid keeps things simple in a black hooded top and sunglasses. Both appear to be grinning from ear to ear.
In March, Gigi and Zayn announced their breakup with personal statements on social media.
"Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend," Malik wrote on Twitter at the time.
"I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for," Gigi added in her own statement. "As for the future, whatever's meant to be will always be. xG."
As they head into summer with some new PDA, who knows, maybe celebrity love isn't quite dead after all.
