Photographed while on set for a commercial, Hadid was spotted wearing slippers for her transport to and from the set, including in and out of her car. Paired with socks, the Ugg-branded slippers really were an off duty look — somehow (??) pulled off by the model. Completed with a mega puffer jacket and black jeans, it was quite the look. However, it was the model’s full face of make-up that really made the look iconic. Who else could pair Ugg slippers with red lipstick and somehow still look chic?
Considering the weather in New York at the moment isn’t exactly balmy, we do understand the need for slippers. But, the low, grandpa-esque cut of the Gigi-favoured style is definitely a departure from her usual stiletto or boots — and even a step further than the classic low boot Ugg loved by Paris Hilton.
What can we say, sometimes a girl’s gotta wear her slippers around town. Gigi Hadid is just like us after all!
