Elly On Her Summer Plans: What I love most about summer is that it really helps people to put their best foot forward! The warm weather certainly has a wonderful way of getting people to make positive lifestyle choices! I think in summer people love to opt for a beautiful fresh salad and amazing summer fruits - MANGO SEASON, yay! Furthermore, people get outdoors with their loved ones & engage in activities. Whether it be water skiing, backyard cricket or taking the dogs for a walk - there really are more people out and about! Also, you just can’t beat our classic Australian BBQs. My summer plans will consist of getting outdoors, spending much-loved quality time with friends and family. I absolutely love getting out and trying new activities, therefore, I will definitely be going to try out something new - perhaps I’ll even film it to share on my IGTV for my #ExtraMiles.
Elly On Life Post-Bachie: Life post-Bachelor is wonderful! Not a great deal has really changed, I do still feel like myself despite being introduced to a crazy new industry. I am still enjoying my job as a Registered Nurse, working and living out in the country with my family until the New Year when I plan to relocate to Sydney for a change! Every day I still receive words of encouragement and support! I find it hard to believe that I have been so lucky to have had so much support from the Australian public. I really do feel so grateful and humbled for receiving this such a warm response!
Elly On The Bachelorette's Angie Kent: I think Angie Kent is doing a wonderful job as Bachelorette! She is navigating her way through the experience with strength, dignity & laughter! I wish her all of the very best in her quest to find love!
Elly On Her Decision To Speak About Her Plastic Surgery: I have had a breast augmentation. It was something I had wanted to do for a very long time! As someone who works in the medical field, I am very aware of the risks associated with surgical procedures and I certainly did an extensive amount of research prior to undergoing my surgery. Going on the Bachelor had no influence on my desire to have a breast augmentation. The surgery occurred a significant amount of time prior to going on the show and the planning of the procedure began even further before then. It was not something difficult to disclose to the public as I’m sure if anyone took any notice to previous photos, they would have been able to see a difference! I am a strong advocate for women and men to be able live their lives as they wish! I also encourage people to make positive lifestyle choices to enhance their happiness and wellbeing! I think people should be able to much decisions in their life free from criticism and judgement.
