Ellie married long-time boyfriend Caspar Jopling over the weekend at York Minster Cathedral, England, walking down the aisle in a stunning Victoriana gown by Chloé. Designed by Natacha Ramsay Levi, it featured a high ruffled collar and full-length sleeves with hand-embroidered white roses and delicate glass beads. Along with the long veil and voluminous train, it was all very regal.
We fell for it hard.
But then we saw her second dress. During the pre-reception drinks, Ellie wore a white Stella McCartney dress that was sleek, sophisticated but had a high slit with diamond-studded edging for a modern twist. This time she opted for off-the-shoulder sleeves. She even changed her earrings, swapping out her pearl drop earrings from the ceremony for diamond chandelier earrings that popped against her otherwise-simple look.
Next, for the reception, she went for comfortable glamour with an embellished two-piece by Ralph & Russo. The top was a pearl-beaded silk masterpiece that draped over her shoulders while the flowing evening skirt featured a similar split to her cocktail number. She later changed into a pair of classic white tailored trousers. She topped it off by letting her hair down and adorning her naturally-textured tresses with a jewelled headband.
Finally, for what we can only assume was the after-party, Ellie wrapped up the night with a winged Balmain mini dress.
Cue mic drop.
In an Instagram post, Ellie shared a series of images of herself standing in a grand hallway during her wedding weekend, wearing a black gown by Carolina Herera. "My beautiful dark twisted fantasy," the singer wrote.
