What is Dare Me about?
The series closely follows the page-turning plot by Abbott and introduces viewers to the dark side of the American cheerleading world with childhood friends Addy Hanlon and Beth Cassidy steering the tale.
Widely viewed by their peers as the rulers of the competitive high school team, their powerful friendship had never been wavered - that was until new coach, Colette French, came onto the scene.
While Addy is content to fall under French's commands, Cassidy is less tolerant - cue a devastating rift between the friends. When a death thrusts the squad into a police investigation, "their young lives are changed forever when a shocking crime rocks their quiet suburban world".
