Dannii Minogue caught up with WHO Magazine while she attending the Prix de Marie Claire fashion event in Sydney on August 15.
And the star revealed that while her latest single Holding On is out, fans can expect to hear a lot more of the pop star ahead of her tour stints alongside British boyband Take That.
"I’m just going to keep dropping music. I’ll be dropping some more music when I go on Tour with Take That in November. It won’t be an album, possibly an EP."
When asked about the reaction the Australian singer has received following the announcement of her return to the stage, Minogue says it's been nothing but positive.
"I’ve got big love for them [Take That] and everyone has said ‘yep – right combination!’ We’ve planned some great things – it’ll be amazing. There are huge arenas booked, so it’s like get your Beyoncé (Sasha Fierce) on and get out there! I can’t wait!" the 45-year-old explained.
And sure enough, she was right about the love she had for the boy-banders, as she let WHO know her favourite Take That tracks include, “Back For Good” and “Shine”.
The British act will be in Australia for just over a week. And Minogue says she's happy to show them around her hometown first. "It depends on how much time we have, but I know after the Melbourne show –that next day – there’s not a show so you know it’s my home town!" she revealed.
In between preparations for touring and releasing new music, the former Neighbours star said that she always makes time as a mother first and foremost.
"I think I have way more life and work balance now. Because you have to, you’ve gotta make time for family and work but then also just rest because as a mum if you’re completely depleted you can’t do any of that!"
Minogue shares son Ethan Smith with her former partner Chris Smith.
