While in isolation, many have taken the unprecedented amount of time indoors to change up their hair look - from Ruby Rose giving the bold technicolour trend her tick of approval to Miley Cyrus' new pixie cut (courtesy of her mum, Tish). Yes, there has certainly been no shortage of drastic beauty switch-up's happening in quarantine.
And, when it comes to viral hair trends it seems tasty beverages have been monopolising the game of late. First, came Vanilla Chai Blonde, Toasted Coconut, and even Milk Tea strands. Now, there's yet another Instagram-inspired hairstyle that the beauty world is obsessed with.
Enter, Cinnamon. A warm and spicy shade that at its heart is a copper shade, mixed with splices of bright shiny blonde.
"One of the fun things about doing something bold with your hair is that you find a new style of confidence. A change is as good as a holiday," says Renya Xydis, creative director and founder of Valonz Salon, on the new trend.
"In terms of colour, we are seeing a lot of warm tones, especially coming into Winter! Garnet red is deep, rich, warm and can be suited to many different skin tones by playing with different tones."
Aussie favourites like Martha Kalifatidis and Abbie Chatfield have already taken the plunge.
"A classic hit for Aussie celebrities right now is always a warm Bronte for winter, or "Aperol" as some might say," Xydis adds. "It is perfect because it is easily achievable for blonde's who want to add some warmth, however, can also be a nice transition for brunettes by adding soft highlights.
"Celebrity colour trends are hard to follow, so I always recommend chatting to your colourist to find the best fit for your skin tone, and something that won't require a painful amount of upkeep!"
