Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are putting their son Jack first following their divorce announcement on August 6. After seven years of marriage, Pratt and Faris have entered couples counselling.
“They are going through couples counseling now, which is what you do when you want to divorce and there are children involved,” the reports People. “It won’t likely change the status but it could help with their future coparenting.”
While fans of the famous family hope they reconcile it remains unlikely, however “never say never,” says the source. Life in the public eye, in conjunction with hectic filming schedules are the main reasons behind Chris and Anna's split.
“Their work separations have taken a toll, and it is not likely that the marriage can be repaired enough to work right now,” the source continues. “But there is still love between them.”
Anna's comedy series Bad Mom returns to screens later this year, and her memoir Unqualified, will be released in October 2017. Meanwhile, Pratt has two blockbuster sequels out next year, Avengers: Infinity War and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
