Chris Hemsworth’s marriage of seven years to Spanish born model and actress Elsa Pataky is a rarity in Hollywood. However, in an era when celebrity divorce is a common fixture in the news, these two are seemingly defying the odds.
However in a recent interview with GQ, the Thor star has revealed his relationship is perfectly imperfect.
"My wife and I fell in love, had kids, didn’t really see each other for a few years, then fell back in love,” the 34-year-old said. Elsa and Chris have three children, India Rose, 5, and twin boys Tristan and Sasha, both 3-years-old.
“Once you have children, every instinct and every moment of your time is consumed by that,” he continues.
“You’ve got nothing for each other – so make sure you have date night even if it’s once in a blue moon, because most of the time you’re just too tired and you’d actually prefer to sleep,” Liam Hemsworth’s older brother confesses. "There’s no shortage of how much I tell her I love her,” he adds.
The couple relocated back to Australia after increasing attention from the paparazzi became too much for the young family, however living in Byron Bay hasn’t come without sacrifice.
“In terms of work, she’s certainly given up more than I have. She’d like me to step back and be at home with the kids more, and of course, I want that too. But I feel like I’m at this crucial point in my career,” Hemsworth said.
Chris' refreshingly honest account of making a marriage work in the public eye is just another reason we just can't get enough of this down to earth couple. Keep scrolling for some of their best moments together!
