Remember when Sienna Miller was the poster child for bohemian style? It was the early 2000s and peasant skirts were a wardrobe essential for anyone trying to emulate the actor's sartorial appeal. Fast forward 15 years, and while Miller's outfit choices still favour an easy breezy edge, Chloé's latest collection has recast free spirited style to speak to new generation of women.
This isn't unfamiliar territory for the French fashion house, but after a few seasons exploring equestrian influences to jogging pants, creative director Natacha Ramsay-Levi has zeroed in on hippie modernism for spring 2019. Her brand of boho chic translated into fluid dresses, crochet tops, fringed pants and rope belts that accented nearly every look. Scarf prints also featured heavily, while jewel-encrusted harnesses were layered over micro-pleated mini dresses.
We'll take one of everything and a summer holiday to match, thanks.
