Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum have confirmed their decision to "lovingly separate" after nearly nine years of marriage.
The couple, who met on the set of Step Up in 2006, shared identical messages on their social media accounts. Despite the break-up Jenna and Channing still maintain they love each other, "we fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now."
Channing, and Jenna, both 37, share a daughter, Everleigh who will turn 5 in May. After three years together they wed in 2009.
Jenna previously opened up to Health about her marriage and the possibility of having more children.
“I haven’t yet made my decision, and I’m leaving it to the universe to show me the way,” Jenna shared. “I love the idea of another child, and it might be in the cards, but I’ll know when I know.”
Jenna also confessed that the idea of having more children felt “overwhelming” in the past.
Of her seemingly picture perfect life, the actress confessed, "when people say, 'you guys have such a perfect life' I want to scream."
Speculation that the couple had split began when Jenna attended the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party solo, she told Entertainment Tonight that Channing was on daddy duty and “so happy to have a night off.”
