When Cass Wood stepped out of the limo into and saw the candlelit Bachelor mansion for the first time, she was a little shocked.
Not only did she recognise the man standing before her, but it was soon revealed that the pair had a romantic past prior to show’s filming.
While we were instantly convinced that Cass would be a frontrunner, it was only a matter of episodes before the majority of Australia had decided that the 23-year-old would definitely not be the one to win the heart of the Honey Badger.
Though new front-runners continue to emerge, the Home & Away extra's name keeps getting thrown around, especially in the weeks following Nick Cummins' admission Cass' feelings are mutual. Below, the reasons which lead us to believe Cass Wood wins this season of The Bachelor.
1. She Was Spotted Wearing An Engagement Ring
According to Pedestrian, the blonde bombshell was reportedly spotted sporting a big rock on her finger while out with friend Tori Levett. Levett reportedly posted video to her Instagram Stories however it has been removed since.
2. Her Siblings Recently Followed Nick On Instagram
The Daily Mail reports that Cass’s brother and sister both started following Nick on Instagram in May, when filming of the show wrapped. You would assume that her family wouldn’t be following him if the pair weren’t together, right?
3. Past Contestants
Cass received quite the backlash from fans, being labelled a ‘stage five clinger’ and a ‘stalker’ for her lustful and obsessive behaviour toward Nick. However, if you cast your minds back to previous seasons of the show, you’ll remember that past contestants who were perceived to be “clingy” were some of the last contestants standing. Case in point, Ali Oetjen, who was the second runner-up from Tim Robards season, and Alex Nation, who actually won Richie Strahan’s heart on the fourth season of the show.
