As a leader and member of the LGBTQ+ community herself, PUMA's Global Director of Brand and Marketing, Adam Petrick, has stated that Cara's voice has "made her a perfect partner to collaborate with on this pride-inspired project. It’s more important now than ever to support each other and through this collection, it reminds us that we’re always stronger together.”
As well as advocating, Delevingne has always been an open book when it comes to her sexuality, having candidly spoken about her sexual orientation on multiple occasions.
Most recently, Delevingne and Pretty Little Liars actress Ashley Benson ended their relationship after almost two years together.
Already sporting the collection on her Instagram, her range packs fun styles with an affordable price tag. According to PUMA, the collection is made to be "worn with pride, featuring vibrant colours, rainbow designs and bold graphics".
The pack features a waist-bag, rainbow slides, and an assortment of colourful t-shirts and hoodies that actively support Pride Month, and can continue to do so long after.
With prices all below $100, Puma will be donating 20 percent of the collection's proceeds to the Cara Delevingne Foundation, which is a part of the Giving Back Foundation that supports LGBTQ+ charities including GLAAD, The Trevor Project, and Mind Out.
Most of the collection is officially set to drop June 1 on Puma.com. However, fans of the collection's Leadcat slides will have to wait a little longer, with the footwear dropping on June 28.
