From thigh gaps to bikini bridges, a number of problematic body shape trends have increased in popularity of late. But the newest movement to blow up on social media is, fortunately, a positive one.
The "hip dips" hashtag is celebrating the distinctive curve between the outer upper thigh and hip bone that many of us have.
Thousands have taken to social media to share images of their "hip dips", with messages embracing the natural and normal body part that so many women feel self conscious about.
"I used to effing HATE my hips. SO much," one Instagrammer wrote. "No matter how much I dieted or went to the gym they would never go away! I have only recently learned to embrace them and realised it's the structure of my body and that's not going to change. Love your body, embrace your flaws. Focus on being healthy, whatever what means to you."
We couldn't be happier to see this body-positive movement take off.
