Brianna Ferrante, who was the latest bachelorette to be sent home, spoke to 10 Daily, saying, "I was always fine with Abbie. She’s very good with her words and very good at making a point, so for her to win wasn’t really a surprise."
"She also already had a connection with Matt, and she’s very emotive."
The 24-year-old clerical officer from Western Australia lost out to Abbie during the group challenge after a one-on-one compatibility test with Bachelor Matt Agnew, then during the cocktail party she revealed that marriage wasn’t in her immediate future, which led to Matt deciding that it was best she went home.
When also asked during an interview with Pop Sugar whether she believed Abbie was to blame for her elimination, she said, “No, I think I probably still would have gone home regardless of Abbie being in the picture. She obviously had a connection with Matt, and I obviously didn't, she would have won anyway even if she literally didn't say anything. So it was not her fault at all.”
When also asked whether she thought Abbie was putting on an act, Brianna said:
“Abbie has a very strong personality, so what you've seen is pretty much what she is like. I think obviously there could be times where she exaggerates the truth, or even her personality to a degree . . . but it's hard to tell if she's being fake or not. I just think she's very good at knowing what she wants and how to get it.”
