Brad Pitt's family is mourning the loss of grandmother Betty Russell.
The 95-year-old sadly passed away in Oklahoma on September 14 according to reports. The family matriarch's dying wish was to see Pitt, 53, again having not seen her grandson in over a decade.
Brad’s aunt Mary Ann Lanier spoke of Betty’s yearning to see Brad, fearing the star had forgotten his 'Meema'. “She misses him. He doesn’t write, he doesn’t seem to stay in contact with her.
"I don’t know, I’m sure he’s busy but I don’t know why he doesn’t stay in contact with at least his grandmother, but she doesn’t hear from him," Lanier told MailOnline.
Brad was mentioned in Betty’s obituary, alongside his ex wife Angelina Jolie and their six children together.
