Blake Lively was injured on set of her new film project, The Rhythm Section, according to a production statement released on Tuesday morning.
The spy thriller has temporarily halted filming, according to an official announcement made via Us Weekly.
“Paramount, Global Road (formerly known as IM Global) and producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli today confirmed that filming has been temporarily suspended on The Rhythm Section as Blake Lively sustained an injury to her hand whilst filming an action sequence. Production will resume as soon as possible,” the statement reads.
This isn't the first time Blake made headlines onset of the project, the 30-year-old recently stepped out looking unrecognisable with a short brown hairstyle. The Rhythm Section, co-stars Jude Law and is about a woman who seeks to uncover the truth behind a plane crash that killed her family. According to Deadline, Lively’s character becomes an assassin in the spy thriller.
