There are currently a whopping 13 live-action Disney remakes in the works (that we know of), but of all the childhood faves making their way back onto our screens, it's probably The Lion King that has us feeling all the things. This *probably* has something to do with the epic cast lining up to voice the iconic characters.
Your main man Donald Glover (Childish Gambino) has already signed on to voice Simba, while the OG Mufasa, James Earl Jones, is also on board. So who will voice Nala? Well, if Jon Favreau has his way, it will be the Queen herself.
According to Variety, the director has his sights set on Beyoncé. Insider sources claim that Favreau is willing to do "whatever it takes" to accommodate pregnant Bey's schedule, though the publication stresses she is yet to accept the offer.
Despite the complete lack of confirmation, the internet began to melt with sheer excitement at the possibility...
We'll let you know if (fingers crossed, when) Bey accepts the role.
