Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus may be keeping their relationship private, but that didn't stop the new couple from from attending the Emmys in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The duo became awards show official as they attended the 69th Annual Emmy Awards, where Lindsay was nominated for her show Saturday Night Live. The producer and the actor kept a relatively low profile, ditching the standard red carpet couple posing and opting to simply sit together inside the ceremony and at the after-party.
Lindsay's show was nominated for a whopping 22 awards, and scored 9 on the night. According to a report from Us Weekly, Ben reportedly sat in the SNL section and “jumped up and cheered when SNL won.”
Ben later cosied up to his date at the HBO reception, sitting with the likes of Larry David and Jeff Garlin as they celebrated the big win.
The lowkey pair were also snapped looking sleek at the ceremony in a video by The Hollywood Reporter awards columnist Scott Feinberg.
The evening was a major step for the couple, who only went public with their romance in July after Ben's ex Jennifer Garner officially filed for divorce in April.
