Bella Thorne is receiving the support of her friends following her nude photos being leaked. Earlier this week, the former Disney channel star decided to share nude photos of herself on Twitter after she said a hacker threatened her with them.
Thorne wrote alongside the photos, "I’m putting this out because it’s MY DECISION NOW, U DON’T GET TO TAKE YET ANOTHER THING FROM ME. I can sleep better tonight knowing I took my power back."
Later, The View host Whoopi Goldberg spoke out claiming Thorne was the one to blame for her photos being leaked for taking them in the first place. It caused a debate among the panel, and Twitter, and ultimately Thorne's celeb friends came to her defence.
"Shame on you, Whoopi. Shame on you and shame on you for putting that public opinion just out there like that for every young girl to think that they're disgusting for even taking a photo like that," Bella said via Instagram Story.
Zendaya, Dove Cameron and Lily Rose Depp all shared their love for the actress.
On Instagram she shared these friends' remarks with the caption, "When ur friends come out of the woodworks to support u is all u need to be brave."
Lucy Hale messaged the star, "Good for you baby girl. I'm so proud of you for speaking up. This breaks my heart. But you're making a difference for other girls and women!"
