The brand, which has become a firm favourite of celebrities everywhere - Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Selena Gomez and Kaia Gerber, just to name a few - ventured into bridal after huge demand from their customers. The decidedly romantic collection is filled with 90's necklines and silhouettes that are sleek but youthful. The colour palette includes burgundy and rich cosmetic shades, through to golds and shimmery pleats, in washed stains and soft washed silks.
"The Bec + Bridge girl was the catalyst for this collection," says the brand's founders Bridget Yorston and Becky Cooper. "We were thinking about how that essence of feeling chic, confident, effortless and modern every day could then transcend to her special day with her gorgeous bridesmaids by her side. Even her guests were taken into consideration whilst designing this collection."
As for what is most important when it comes to bridal collections? It's all about selection.
"Fabric selections are key - having a mix of shine and matte, stretch and non-stretch, draped and fitted, textured and also a little bit of shimmer and sparkle is very important.
"Every bride and bridesmaid wants to feel like she has options. Silhouette and cut are also of huge consideration... e are always mindful of the different body shapes we are designing for. When it comes to a wedding, we want to ensure that everyone is feeling and looking their absolute best!"
As part of the new wedding edit, Bec + Bridge will begin weekend appointments for bridesmaids at their in-house showroom in Waterloo. The bridal party will get to experience a private and intimate showing of the collection in a relaxed setting, with all dresses being taken home that same day.
