The fight for a more inclusive fashion industry is something Australian plus size model Robyn Lawley knows all too well. The 29-year-old, who has been one of the country's top models for over 10 years, has made headlines recently for slamming Victoria's Secret and its refusal to cast size diverse women in its annual fashion show. While the US lingerie label might be slow to catch on, thankfully, fashion campaigns and runways are starting to prioritise casting plus size models - an industry term for any model over a size 10 - something that makes a lot of sense given that the average dress size of Australian women is 14 to 16.
Overseas, models such as Ashley Graham and Tess Holliday are helping to break the mould, but Down Under we also have a stunning range of models worth knowing. Below, in no particular order, all of the top plus size models in Australia.
10. Laura Wells
33-year-old Laura Wells is an environmentalist, presenter and one of Australia's top plus size models. The Sydney-born beauty, who wears a size 14 in swimwear and size 12-14 in clothes, was scouted while visiting New York and now uses her platform to raise awareness of environmental issues (she has both a law and biology degree under her belt, too).
9. Tia Provost
Originally from Ulladulla, NSW, Tia Provost is a 28-year-old plus size model, who has just moved back from Australia after living in London and modelling internationally.
8. Jessica Vander Leahy

Now based in New York, Vander Leahy has expanded her skills to include writing for some of the world's biggest fashion publications and with the creation of Project WomanKIND, an online platform dedicated to celebrating women.
7. Kate Wasley
Aussie model Kate Wasley rose to social media fame as one half of Instagram duo @any.body_co, where she and friend Georgia Gibbs share photos of themselves to social media to promote body positivity at any size. Now Kate is being recognised internationally shooting for Sports Illustrated earlier this year.
6. Georgia Pratt
New Zealand-born model Georgia Pratt is making a name for herself internationally (yes, we're claiming her as our own). Pratt is often shot for Kiwi lingerie label, Lonely, which is known worldwide for using models of every size and age and their unretouched images.
5. Robyn Lawley
29-year-old Robyn Lawley is Australia's most well-known plus-size model, the first to ever appear in a campaign for Ralph Lauren and shot for some of the world's biggest fashion magazines. In 2013, she penned an essay calling out the 'thigh gap' trend for being unhealthy and unnecessary.
4. Bree Warren
30-year-old Bree Warren splits her time between Australia (where she lives in Noosa, Queensland), the US and Europe, shooting magazine covers and campaigns for brands such as Ralph Lauren, Nordstrom and ASOS. 3. Daniela Rose

2. Mercy Rose Watson
Mercy Rose Watson first entered the fashion industry as a straight-size model in her teens, but after struggling with body-image and eating disorders she quit the industry to pursue an education in the performing arts and was later scouted again, this time as a plus-size model.
