If the soft ‘clunk’ of a luxury car door closing is music to your ears and the scent of fine European leather upholstery makes your pulse quicken, you are in for a treat.
Previously, the idea of driving courses and doing laps around a track was reserved for men who love the smell of burning rubber and the roar of high revs. But really, why should the boys have all the fun?
Audi Australia has created a unique driving program for women who want to experience the extraordinary performance of Audi vehicles in a luxe, comfortable environment designed especially for them.
In the spirit of Audi’s #DriveProgress initiative to support and empower women, the Audi Women’s Driving Experience aims to make women feel comfortable behind the wheel and on the track, while sharpening their reflexes and developing their driving skills.
The half-day course begins with an interactive briefing by Audi’s chief driving instructor, Steve Pizzati. Morning and afternoon sessions both include a gourmet lunch hosted by an Audi ambassador for each city–Lisa Wilkinson in Melbourne, Sandra Sully in Brisbane and Kylie Kwong in Sydney–who will welcome guests and share with them some personal insights into the elements that drive them forward in their career and life.
Once you put your foot down the thrills really begin. Develop your skills and learn some new ones as you explore Audi’s vehicle performance at an even higher level.
- Full track lapping
- A timed high-speed motorkhana test
- Understeer/oversteer correction
- A high-speed ABS emergency braking section test
And you’ll do it in style, with all attendees having the opportunity to experience the extraordinary German engineering and performance of Audi vehicles including A, Q, performance S and RS models as well as the stunning Audi TT throughout the day.
As every woman knows, it’s the little details that make something extra special. So, to enhance the experience, Audi has joined forces with pampering and wellbeing partners to bring a soothing dimension to an adrenaline-filled day. All participants will receive a complimentary BEAR Essential Daily Vitamins product, and enjoy a complimentary hand and shoulder massage and gift from Endota Spa.
To participate in this course, you need a full Australian driver’s licence and must be at least 21 years old.
Bookings are essential, groups are welcome and you can also purchase the course as a gift voucher for a fantastic present. So grab your besties and hit the track for a day you won’t forget.
