2Day FM has officially announced that Rove McManus and Sam Frost will no longer be on the airwaves.
Speaking to News.com.au, a Hit Network spokeswoman revealed: “Rove and Sam’s 7-8 pm show on the Hit Network will finish up today, June 30.”
While radio Veteran Rove will remain "within the SCA family and working on a new project with another part of our business," the spokesperson confirmed Frost's contract has ended.
The duo joined the Hit Network at the beginning of 2016 in Sydney and were given a full year to prove their spot in the breakfast category but proved unsuccessful as they completed 2016 with a 3.8 per cent audience share.
Earlier his year, the Sam and Rove show was replaced with a breakfast show featuring Em Rusciano and Harley Breen.
