After breaking the Australasian touring record with a whopping 14 sold-out shows across Australia and New Zealand, Ed Sheeran has announced a further four shows for his 2018 tour.
Frontier Touring just announced the news via their Facebook page, writing:
"The original seven announced stadium dates quickly increased to fourteen this week, equalling AC/DC’s 2010 record. Now, with the addition of FOUR MORE STADIUM SHOWS in PERTH, MELBOURNE, SYDNEY and DUNEDIN, Ed Sheeran has lifted the bar higher than ever before."
Ed said in a statement today: "I've always loved coming to Australia and New Zealand. So many amazing musicians have toured there and I am humbled to have broken these records."
Friday 2 March – Perth, Perth Stadium [2nd Perth show]
Friday 9 March – Melbourne, Etihad Stadium [4th Melbourne show]
Thursday 15 March – Sydney, ANZ Stadium [3rd Sydney show]
Sunday 01 April – Dunedin, Forsyth Barr Stadium [3rd Dunedin show]
