Ariana Grande and fiancé Pete Davidson are on the relationship fast track.
Following their whirlwind engagement, the couple have taken another step in cementing their union with Ariana paying to tribute to Pete's late father with a new tattoo. The tiny ink reads "8418,” the badge number worn by the Saturday Night Live actor’s dad, firefighter Scott Davidson who did in the September 11th attack on the Twin Towers.
The black numerals are visible on Grande's foot, spotted during the couple's latest outing, below.
Davidson already has two tattoos in honour of the 25-year-old popstar. In June, he got a tattoo of a black bunny mask, which Ariana wears on her Dangerous Woman album cover. Pete, 24, also has his fiancé initials "AG," inked on the back of his hand.
Pete's tattoo artist Jon Mesa, has been very busy lately, also working on a large cover-up for the Set It Up actor, disguising a portrait of Davidson's ex Cassie David.
“I did a huge cover-up [adding a forest of trees],” Mesa told Page Six. “After we were done, I told Pete, ‘Hey, dude, let’s just stop with the girlfriend tats until after [Grande’s] your wife.’ ”
Mesa added, "relationships come and go, and Pete is a really young man. I think that went in one ear and out the other.”
