Citing her mum as the reason she’s been taking more risks, Heinrich let us in on her mum’s best fashion and beauty advice: just do it.
“Just seeing what works — it’s one piece of advice my mum gave me. If there’s something that you like but you’re not quite sure, try it on anyway because normally it’s the piece that you end up buying. You have to take those risks because you never know what’s going to work. Mix and match!”
Wearing a colourful dress by Aussie designer Rachel Gilbert, Heinrich admits she went a little out there with her look — eyelashes included.
“It’s quite colourful and I’m seeing quite a lot of black around tonight so it’s nice to bring a bit of colour. A lot of floral, It’s a bit retro! I’m wearing bottom eyelashes, I’ve never worn bottom eyelashes before! I’m digging them! I hope they look ok!”
